Being a police officer or a fire fighter can be a highly stressful and dangerous job. Sometimes these occupations come with bad labels and prejudices that are not warranted. Two detectives from the U.S. visited the capital city, Santo Domingo, to invest in members of the national police and fire fighters. They brought teachings on Ethics and Stress Management. The classes were well received and gave valuable insight. It provided the civil servants of the DR a place to express their struggles. It also provided them new ideas on how to handle their jobs in a more efficient manner.
