Providing clean water for 125 families, an Every Day Hope community well needed a housing unit to cover and protect the investment for long term use. The EDH construction crew along with leaders from the community began construction to secure the well pump and all its electrical components.
In just two days the shelter was up and the roof was on even though it rained most of the second day of construction. The crew persevered! They returned to the city quite exhausted and drenched yet were very satisfied with their work. Community members collaborated in the effort through cooking a hot meal for the workers and working alongside of the Every Day Hope crew. It is quite satisfying to watch people work together for the common good.
Every Day Hope’s team will need one more day to complete the finishing touch by smooth coating the exterior. We look forward to witnessing the unity amongst the community, once again.
